Hi there !
I passed all exams so well and I was really happy about it! Even maths was suprisingly good. So school is almost done. Next week I am going to be on a school trip to Potsdam and Berlin and I am really excited about that because I was never in Berlin before. Probably I will post about the trip and show you pictures ;) Now news from my exchange. I finally know my school where I will study for 10 months: it's Bornova Anadolu Lisesi..short BAL. In Turkey they have for every school such short forms. So I will wear a school uniform there which is very cool in my opinion. I am going to explain the schools in Turkey in detail in my exchange so I won't bother you twice with it but if you are wondering about what Anadolu Lisesi means or other stuff about it you can ask of course. In the moment I have to get the Visa for Turkey..so that means documents..documents..oh and documents :D
70 days are left now! Time is flying and I don't know whether it's good or bad. Pretty soon I have to say goodbye to my class,to my friends and to my family. My friends and I will have a party as I mentioned 10 days ago...but I will see them in summer holidays again. It's really hard for me to imagine the last hug with my best friends..it will hurt so much. Anyways it's not time to think about it! For now I will enjoy my time here. So that's enough for today. Life-Update
Hello guys!
Finally I am done with my 4 exams. I passed English with mark 1 ! The other results will be announced next week..I had struggle with Maths ..so I am a little worried. Anyways back to my exchange. I will fly on the 1 September from Frankfurt am Main to Munich and from there to Izmir where our first camp will be before we get to our host families. That means I will stay the whole summer holidays in Germany. In this camp I will see the other exchange students from Germany again but also the others from the whole world..very exciting,isn't it? I am so lucky that my host family lives in Izmir so I can get to them very quickly after the camp. I am chatting with them already and they are so cute and nice. I am looking forward to see them. Also I already have some friends there for example the cousin of my host mother..I call her sister :) So the only thing which is left is my school there..I guess they are still working on it and I will know my school very soon :)

In the moment I am planning to buy a good camera,working on this blog to do it better before the important posts will be uploaded, doing a party, buying so much stuff for this year..oh and of course learning Turkish. About 100 days left...
Hi guys!
Well..I regognized that there are maybe about 100 days left here in Germany. On the one hand I really want to go to Turkey now..but on the other hand it scares me more and more..the imagination that I will leave everthing behind me in Germany ..friends, school..everything. And also living at the house of "strangers"..my new family..I really can't imagine that...Then there is also the problem with the language..at the moment I can't speak Turkish and I don't know at all how to get along there. I will miss my best friend here sooo much :( and I am frightened if our friendship will last in the way it does now...But anyways I hope that this year will give me wonderful memories and experiences and I won't regret it at all...I am looking positive at the future..I am sure everything will be okay :))
I am very looking forward to see Turkey's beauty..the people..the food :) Especially I am excited about my city..IZMIR... Everyone says that it's a beautiful city. It's at the sea and has over 4 million inhabitants..the 3rd biggest city in Turkey after Istanbul and Ankara!
Oh and by the way in the moment the YFU team is trying to register me at a school there. Also my departure date isn't clear yet..it will be between August and September. Next week I will have finals and after that I finally can start to learn Turkish properly!

Türkei war nicht mein Erstwunsch,aber ich freue mich trotzdem total auf dieses Land. Türkei ist ein wunderschönes Land, was eine sehr einzigartige Kultur hat, die ich nun gerne miterleben möchte. Ich war auch auf ein Stipendium angewiesen und da hatte ich bei der Türkei die besten Chancen. Alle gehen in die USA um dessen "Spirit" kennen zulernen, aber geben anderen Länder gar keine Möglichkeit deren Spirit kennen zulernen...und Englisch kann schon jeder ;) Es ist viel cooler noch eine Sprache zu können./
Turkey wasn't my first choice but I am very excited to see this country as well. It's a beautiful country with an unique culture which I want to experience now. I was dependent on a scholarship and with Turkey I had the best chances for it.Everyone goes to USA to get to know their "spirit" but doesn't give other countries the chance to get to know their spirit...and also everyone already knows english ;) It's way cooler to learn a new language.

1 Schuljahr,also ungefähr 10 Monate/ 1 school year, so 10 months

Ich liebe es einfach Neues kennen zulernen, vor allem Länder, Kulturen und Menschen. Ich finde es so faszinierend wie unterschiedlich Menschen leben ! Ich denke das sind einmalige Lebenserfahrungen, die man da sammeln kann und von denen man immer profitieren wird. Man schließt neue Freundschaften,lernt eine neue Sprachen, erweitert seinen Horizont und findet möglicherweise eine 2.Familie für sich. :)/
I just love to get to know new things, especially countries, cultures and people. I find it so fascinated how differently people live. I think you can earn there unique live experiences from which you can always make profits. You get new friends, learn a new language, broaden your horizon and maybe find a 2.family :)

einige meiner Freunde machen das selbe und haben mich in diese Welt eingeführt :D/ some of my friends do the same and gave me this idea

Ich möchte mich selber besser kennenlernen und ein stärkerer und selbstbewussterer Mensch werden, da ich ziemlich unsicher in der Öffentlichkeit bin. Meine Gastfamilie soll für mich wie eine echte Familie werden und ich möchte lebenslange Freundschaften schließen und dabei sogar eine neue Sprache können./
Ich want to know myself a little more and to get a stronger and more self-confident person because I am pretty insecure in puplic. My host family should get my 2. family and I want to get live-long friendships and also learn a new language.
